Styled Shoots are the way to go these days if you want to get your creative juices flowing without the pressure of an actual party/wedding and when Joelene from Oh Happy Day wanted to do a bachelorette party styled shoot I was in, no questions asked. Joelene is the exact professional you want running your event, whether it be a small intimate party or a grand wedding. She has event coordination skills you will not find in most people and shes is just the loveliest person too so its a win, win.
I teamed up with some amazing talents again from Durban. The Salt Rock Hotel was our backdrop and provided the perfect beachy/tropical theme.
The lovely Lindy from Labola Decor Hire + Flowers had all the amazing tropical decor and was a breeze to work with.
Ruby + Swallow created the perfect stationary to bring our tropical heat theme to life and we got to have Kim there with us on the day which is awesome for us all to be able to bring all our creative energy together on the day.
Wes & Stacey from The Shank Tank are this fabulous husband and wife team that do video and recently Stacey has taken to the photography side of things. Seriously go check out their blog, Stacey has some amazing tips on how to plan budget friendly bachelorette party for all you girls.
Taryn from Smith’s Bake Shop again, completely out did herself with the cake, the cupcakes, these amazing meringue, chocolate covered watermelon domes and the cutest little pineapple chocolates. Having people and really lovely people on your team that go above and beyond is a must you simply cannot do it without everyone.
We were also very privileged to have Gabi from SouthBound Bride pop in to come see what we were up to and spend sometime with us and it turned out her help was hugely needed so thank you Gabi.
So lets get to the photos and just look at all of this.
Here are some behind the scenes photos, you know cause we are all real people just having way too much fun
